Stay with a carefully selected host family while attending local schools or participating in a cultural/learning program, all supported by dedicated staff.

We offer options in the United States and the Philippines to suit various academic goals and budgets.
Eligibility Requirements: Participants should be in good health, demonstrate responsible behavior, show an interest in cultural exchange, and be willing to live with a host family and follow rules. Basic English conversational ability is recommended for the US, or at least a willingness to use English and the local language in the Philippines.

Key Program Components

The program is a comprehensive package designed to maximize your cultural and linguistic growth.
- Pre-Departure Orientation: Essential briefings on the host country’s culture, rules, basic language, safety, and health.
- Homestay Placement: Placement with a pre-screened and approved host family. This includes full or partial board (typically breakfast and dinner).
- Logistics & Support: Flight and arrival coordination, including airport pick-up. Local transportation support is often provided (e.g., to school/host family).
- Learning Component: Attendance at a local school (if applicable) or participation in organized classes/workshops and an academic project/reflection.
- Cultural Activities: Scheduled cultural and weekend activities such as local sightseeing and cross-cultural workshops.
- On-Site Support: Access to a local coordinator and 24/7 emergency contact for support and monitoring.
Post-Program Follow-up: Includes a certificate of completion and a post-return sharing session/presentation in Japan.

The estimated total fee includes major costs like airfare, homestay, program fees, and insurance. These figures are estimates and will vary based on city, season, exchange rate, and specific activities.
以下の費用は概算であり、都市、時期、為替レート、プログラム内容によって変動します。為替変動リスクに備え、5%程度の予備費（コンティンジェンシー）を確保することを推奨します。
Note on Longer Stays: For the US, a 3-month stay would require multiplying homestay and certain other costs accordingly (e.g., homestay approximately $420,000 plus other costs).

Safety and Host Family Management

- Host Family Screening: All host families undergo background checks, home inspections, and are required to provide references.
- Clear Agreements: A strict homestay agreement covers meals, a furnished private or semi-private room, laundry, curfew, and internet access.
- Support System: A local coordinator in the destination country is available 24/7 for emergency contact and regular check-ins with the student and host family.
- Insurance: Students must have travel and health insurance to cover medical emergencies and accidents.
- Orientation: Both students and host families receive cultural orientation to explain respective norms, communication expectations, and conflict resolution. Clear rules are also set regarding student behavior (e.g., alcohol, curfew).
